  • Super Bowl Time in North Texas – Welcome Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers Fans

  • Why Super Bowl Ads Should Cost Five Times As Much

Are Super Bowl commercials worth more than $2.6 million for :30? I think so, and here is my logic.
Last year the New Orleans Saints’ victory over Indianapolis in the Super Bowl was viewed by more than 106 million people, surpassing the 1983 finale of “M*A*S*H” to become the most-watched program in U.S. television history, the Nielsen Co. reported in February 2010. Over the years, brands have bought into the hype of this highly watched and anticipated event, and many pony up the millions of dollars for the cost of an ad and the sometimes award-winning creative.

This seems to be the year social networking charges onto the field. Consider that E-Trade was the only advertiser among the 2009 and 2010 Super Bowl rosters to even add a tease to its Facebook or Twitter presence at the close of the ad, according to research done by students of Mr. Tomkovick.

  • Super Bowl XLV Spending to Surpass 10 Billion Dollars!

In the North Texas Region, the excitement and spending related to Sper Bowl is rising very fast. The region has fared better than the overall economy and I believe this will be reflected in the Super Bowl spending in this area. Additionally the shear number of hotel rooms, restaurants, party venues and of course strip clubs available makes for a larger than ever Super Bowl experience and a higher level of spending…says Jacob Miles, CEO of GrapevineStar Media, located in Grapevine, Texas, right in the middle of the Dallas-FtWorth Arlington area.

Green Bay Packers are in… Congratulations Green Bay and welcome to North Texas. Next up New York Jets vs Pittsburgh Steelers, if I am right about Pittsburgh fans they have already bought their tickets to North Texas’s DFW-Airport. To all NFL fans whether your team is in the Super Bowl or not….Come on Down! We got plenty of hotel rooms, restaurants, night clubs, parties, attractions and celebrities to make it worth your while
